Japan’s Print Sales Drop Largest Fall While Digital Grows Steadily

Kyodo News reported that sales of books and magazines in Japan dropped 4.5% from 2013 to 2014 to an estimated 1.6 trillion yen, their largest fall on record.
Meanwhile, digital publications have grown steadily, developing into a 101.3 billion yen market in fiscal 2013, up 31.9 per cent from the previous year.
